Lara Jade Workshops
My workshops aim to cover everything on a typical fashion shoot and more – bringing the experience and knowledge I have gained from my own personal journey and industry experience. Each year, I host a number of workshops worldwide – each one with it’s own unique content (please check the course schedule for more information). The locations I choose are the playground for the workshop – whether it’s shooting on location, in a whimsical location house, a timeless mansion or in the studio.
On set, we always work with professional agency represented models, wardrobe stylists and hair and make-up artists who are currently working in the industry; we feel this is an incredibly important asset for workshops to have working creatives who are passionate about the imagery they want to create. The team are there on the day to collaborate and are open for any questions you may have. Often, these workshops are sponsored by industry leaders; most recently we have teamed up with Broncolor.
The workshop attendee numbers are small and exclusive, which means we have time to focus on individuals and cater to every photographer’s needs; whether you are an amateur, an industry professional or even specialize in an entirely different field of photography altogether. We are sure that after the two days you will leave with new ideas, knowledge and most of all – inspiration and guidance to put into your own practice.
Lara Jade has been working in the photography industry for the past ten years – continuously working with her clientele between the USA and Europe. Starting photography as a teenager shooting self-portraits in her early years allowed Lara to hone her skills, which then translated into the creative side of fashion photography a few years later.
She is a working photographer with an extensive knowledge of shooting for high-profile clients in the studio and on location. Acting as creative director of most of her personal and editorial shoots, as well as contributing ideas to client shoots, Lara has built a large archive of personal and client work in a small number of years and has led to her individual style which you see today. Her client list includes Nanette Lepore, Goldsmiths, Fantasie Lingerie, Harper Collins and editorial clients Elle Singapore, Harrods Magazine, Tatler Hong Kong, Observer (UK), 125 Magazine, Velvet Magazine & Huffington Post Style.
